About
The RCA
We will help you determine the things that must do, should
do and could do to a house to get a house ready for market and
get most out of your rehab dollar. We will provide you with an accurate
understanding of project costs before the project begins so that you can
make changes and adjustments to meet your rehab budget. Investors also
use the RCA for negotiating with sellers, acquiring financing and managing
their own rehab projects.
If a 15-page
detailed written report is more than what you are looking for, we also
offer a Verbal Assessment. We will we do the walk-through together to
determine the approximate rehab cost and look for any “red flag”
or deal killers that may have been overlooked previously. From there we
will use the HomeFixers patented profit formula to help you get a better
understanding of the profit potential for the house. Our goal is to put
you on the right path toward making a good offer that will help you make
money.
What
It Is Not
- Home
Inspection - A home inspection is an examination of the structural
and mechanical condition of a house and does not include the cost of
repairs. Our Rehab Cost Assessment is a report about the improvements
and improvement costs required to get a house ready for retail sale
or rental.
- Contractor
Bid - A bid is a contractor’s attempt to win a job by
offering the lowest price possible in order to win a job. It is often
based on what the contractor thinks you may be willing to pay to have
the work completed. Most contractors do not have the expertise to know
what a house needs in order to be brought up to the proper condition
for retail sale. The HomeFixers’ RCA, backed by
experience attained from over 100 rehab houses completed in the Dallas
Metroplex. includes unbiased information to help you make wise investment
decisions.
